Trạng Từ
Use – Cách sử dụng
- Trạng từ bổ nghĩa cho động từ hoặc tính từ.
Trạng từ bổ nghĩa cho động từ
Eg: Thoa sings smoothly.
Hung and Tung cycle very carefully.
Form: S + V(-s; -es) + adv
Cách thành lập một trạng từ
Form: Adj + ly Adv
Eg: smooth smoothly slow slowly
careful carefully skillful skillfully
Exception: good – well
fast – fast hard – hard
Eg: My uncle is a fast (adj) driver.
My uncle drives fast (adv).
Trạng từ đứng sau các cấu trúc
Form: S + Tobe + V-ing + adv
Eg: She is running slowly.
It is raining heavily now.
* Note: - Những tính từ có tận cùng là đuôi ‘‘y’’ ta chuyển “y” thành “i” rồi thêm “ly”.
Eg: happy happily
- Đa số các đuôi “ful” đều có thể thay bằng “less” mang nghĩa phủ định.
Eg: useful useless
