Equal:

Notices:
Some 2- syllable adjs that end with /-y/ we consider they are ‘short adjs’
Add /-er/ and /-est/
+ adjs end with /-y/. We change into /-i/ and then add /-er/ or /-est/.
+ adjs end with /-e/. We just add /-r/ or /-st/
+ adjs end with a consonant, and before it is a vowel. We double the consonant before adding /-er/ or /-est/
