Example:

=> Have you thought about asking a friend who is confident about maths to help you? Perhaps you just need a little more practice.

A. I’ll never be good at maths. I’m just too stupid.
Match the source of stress and pressure to the advice.
1. It might be a good idea to talk about this to someone. Have you thought about turning to your teacher or your parents for help?
2. If I were you, I wouldn`t be so stressed out. Try your best in the exam but do not worry too much about the ranking in the class.
F. `Why does he make me do all of his homework? It`s not fair. And he says if I don`t do it, he`ll make my life difficult.`
C. `I must get the highest score in this exam. I must be the best student in the class!`
E. `l have this big assignment to complete and l don`t know where to start. It’s too difficult!`
D. `I feel worried when I have to wait for the bus in that neighborhood after my evening class. It’s so quiet and dark there.`

3. It might help to consider breaking this big task into smaller tasks and then tackle them one by one.
B. `I hate my voice. It`s high one minute. low the next, then high again! What`s the matter with it? AND the girls are making fun of
me! I`m so embarrassed.`

Dear Miss Sweetie,
I am in grade 9 at a school in city. I love my school, my teacher and my parents.
But this year, I have to learn too much. My parents want me to become an engineer so I must try my best to enter the best university. Beside that, I have to come to center to learn English. My weekend is also fully booked with music class, swimming class... I don’t have time for myself. I don’t know how to tell with my parents about this problem. Could you give me some advice about this?
Thank you sincerely,
Unhappy
