Cách thành lập trạng từ chỉ thể cách: (Adverb of manner)
Adjective + ly  Adverb of manner
Trạng từ chỉ thể cách cho biết điều gì đó xảy ra hoặc được thực hiện như thế nào.
- Trạng từ chỉ thể cách thường đứng ở cuối câu.
Ex: He drives his car carefully.
Tim did very well.

 There are some words which are both adjectives and adverbs, such as : hard, fast.

Form :
S + V + a/ an + Adj + Noun
Or : S + Be + Adj
S + V + Adverb
Use :
Adverb modifies the verb of the sentence

 hard (adv.) and hardly (adv.) : have different meanings.
hard (adv.) : (một cách) chăm chỉ, tích cực
hardly (adv.) : hầu như không

3. Work with a partner. Suppose you are Tim’s mother. Report Miss Jackson’s commands and request in her conversation with Tim’s mother.
Example:
Miss Jackson said:
“ Can you give Tim this dictionary ?”
or “ Please give Tim this dictionary. ”
Tim’s mother reported it to Tim:

Miss Jackson asked me to give you this dictionary.
Miss Jackson told me to give you this dictionary.
