-          Use :- Dùng để miêu tả một hành động xảy ra trong quá khứ nhưng kết quả còn lưu lại đến hiện tại với :

         * Since + mốc thời gian;     For + Khoảng thời gian

             Ex: You have studied English for 4 years.

  Ex: She has studied English since 2003

            - Dùng để diễn tả hành động vừa mới xảy ra với “ JUST ”- She has just gone out.

            - Dùng để diễn đạt điều gì đó xảy ra sớm hơn mong đợi hoặc để nhấn mạnh một hành động đã được hoàn tất với “ already: đã….rồi  Ex: I have already completed my English exam. )

 - Dùng để diễn đạt điều gì đó được mong đợi ở tương lai hoặc để nhấn mạnh một hành động chưa được hoàn tất với (Yet: chưa; Not….yet) chỉ được dùng trong câu phủ định và câu hỏi

  Ex: He hasn’t finished his work yet.

            - Câu hỏi với “ Ever: từng”và câu trả lời với “ Never: chưa bao giờ”

    8. Present simple tense with future meaning:   Thì hiện tại đơn với nghĩa tương lai.

 

      a. When do they clean up the streets?  Khi nào họ dọn sạch đường phố?

- They clean  them on Sunday 8­­­th.  Họ sẽ dọn dẹp  đường phố vào chủ nhật , ngày 8.

      b. What time do you water flowers?   Mấy giờ bạn tưới hoa?

9. MODAL VERBS :  must , have to , ought to , should.

   a) must : phải

We must go now.      Tôi phải đi ngay bây giờ .    (sự cần thiết)

You mustn’t talk in class. Các em không được nói chuyện trong lớp.  (sự bắt buộc)

 A new shopping mall is opening in Nam's neighborhood today. It is very different from the present shopping area. All the shops are under one roof. That will be very convinient, especcially during the hot and humid summer months. Customers will shop in comfort and won't notice the weather.

 Some people in the neighborhood, however, are not happy about the changes. The owners of the small stores on Tran Phu Street think the mall will take their business.
