Part I
1-polite[pə`laitto s.o.)having good manners andconsideration for other people;
behaving in a way that is sociallyacceptable: lễđộ; lịchsự.
It`s polite to let people know if you`re going to be late.
Iknow you don`t like my father, but please try to be politeto him.

5- to compliment[`kɔmpliməntto s.o.on sth)to say very nice things tosomeone about something: khenngợi; ca tụng (ai, vềviệcgì).
Everybodycomplimented her on her excellent speech.
6- a compliment[`kɔmplimənt]an expression of admiration orpraise etc. :lờithămhỏi; lờichúcmừng.That was a superb meal. Compliment to the chef.
7- to pay (s.o.) a compliment: to compliment someone: khenngợi ;ca tụngai.
He paid her the compliment of saying that she had the best singing voice he had ever heard
8 -to flatter[`flætəs.o.)to say or suggest that someone ismore attractive or intelligent etc.than they really are, especially inorder to get something from them: tângbốc; xunịnh;nịnhhót.
You`re flattering me - I know my German isn`t that good.
He flattered her on her new dress, hoping that she mightagree to go out
with him that evening.
9- flattered[`flætəd]made to feel pleased andhonoured by somethingunexpected happening (indicatingsomeone`s high opinion of you): lấylàmhãnhdiện.
Although I didn`t want the job, I was very flattered thatthey had offered it to me.
10-flattering: causing you to feel flattered: làmtônvẻđẹpcủaailên; làmaihãnhdiện.
Your invitation is very pattering, but I`m afraid I can`taccept.
11- flattery[`flætəri]flattering remarks :sựtângbốc; nịnhhót.
Flatter will get you nowhere!
12-civil[`sivl]polite, but often only in theminimum way, without beingfriendly :lịchsự(nhưngthường ở mứctốithiểu; khôngtỏvẻthânthiện)
Although they don`t like each other, they’re always managingto be quite civil.
13- tactful[`tækfl] careful not to say or do anything that might offend or upset someone:lịchthiệp; khéoléo.
We decided that it would be tactful to leave, since theyobviously wanted to bealone
Hotel receptionists have tobe tactful when dealing with difficult customers.
14-tact[tækt]the ability to be tactful: sựkhéoléo; tàixửtrí.
She showed great tact in her handling of the situation.
15- diplomatic[,diplə`mætik]tactful and showing skill indealing with people: cótàixửtrí,cóhoặctỏrakhéoléotronggiaotiếp.
I think that under the circumstances the most diplomaticthing would be to say nothing.
16-to crawl[krɔ:lto S.O.) (Colloquial) to be excessivelypolite and pleasant to someone,especially someone who is in asuperior position to you, becauseyou want some favor from themor because you want them to like: nịnhbợ.
Nobody likes her at work because she crawls to the boss.
17-a crawler[`krɔ:ləcolloquial) a person who crawls: kẻnịnhbợ; kẻluồncúiđêtiện.
He only got promotion because he`s a crawler, notbecause he deserved it.
Part 2
1-rude[ru:dto s.o.) not polite (often intentionally) : khiếmnhã; hỗnláo; thôlỗ.
How old are you, if it`s not u rude question?
Didn`tanybody teach you that it`s rude to stare?
He was rude tome about my work.
2-bad-mannered / ill-mannered[`il`mænədof a person) impolite; having bad manners: bấtlịchsự; cócáchcưxửthôlỗ.
Take your feet off the chair and don’t be so ill-mannered!
What bad-mannered young people they are!
3- cheeky[`t∫i:ki]lacking respect and politeness (especially for someone that you should respect, for example your parents or teachers); notembarrassed to do or say thingsthat may be considered impoliteby others :xấcláo; hỗnxược.
Do as your father says and don’t he so cheeky!

4-cheek[t∫i:k]cheeky behavior or words: lờinóihoặcứngxửhỗnláo; sựhỗnxược.
