Warm-up: - Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson. Call a group of twelve to the front of the class to play Pelmanism. - Prepare six questions and six answers about clothes on 12 pieces of paper respectively and put them into a box. Each pupil draws a slip of paper and looks for the pupil with the matching question or answer. The quickest pair to say the question and answer aloud is the winner. |

By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to pronounce two-syllable words with the stress on the first syllable: ‘sandals, ‘trousers, ‘jumper and ‘jacket.
