Lesson 4 : Part C- Around the house (C1,2)
A. Aims: - To help students ask and answer about the position of an entity.
- To help students with 4 language skills.
B. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- Get some revision for “ There is….” and “There are…”
- Ask and answer about the position of things around a house, using the following structure: Where + Be + S? / S + Be +P.P.
- Get some practice for the four language skills about house surroundings.

F. Anticipated problem: Students may have difficult in listening tasks. Moreover, it may be difficult for students to change the structure in the task of answering the questions below the text (C1- page 68)

-Correct their wrong pronunciation if necessary.
-Get the class to do the matching exercise.

- Let the students listen to the tape(C1) and number the new words.








- Get the class to read the text after the teacher

- Get the class to read the text in silence (for about one minute) to find the answers to the questions (a- f) {C1}.
- Ask the class to ask and answer the questions in pairs








- Ask the students to find out the difference between the houses in each pair.
- Design a very simple game called “Who is the fastest?” in order to make the students more excited about the listening task.
- Let the students listen to the tape and find out Ba’s house, Lan’s,Tuan’s.
- Let the students practice describing Ba’s, Lan’s, Tuan’s house.
