Say hello to the class and have them to reply. Sing a song : Good morning .
*Teach vocabulary : -introduce the characters through 4 pictures , ask questions : + Who is he /she ? + What time is it ? + How do they say ? -Ask ss to guess what each character say - Explain new words : ( Good morning , good afternoon, good evening, goodbye .) -read and let Ss repeat loudly . Note : stress, intonation . -write the words on the board. * Game : Unscramble words . (have 6 groups of 6 Ss , hand out sheets of coloured papers.Ss have to rewrite words . Who finish firstly is the winner ) - Feedback -Use the posters to present situation. -Play the recording. -Ask questions + Who are they ? + Is it morning or afternoon ? - Play the tape one more . - let Ss repeat after the tape . -call some volunteers recite the dialogue. * Practice : -have students play the role and act the dialogue again. -ask Ss to replace “ morning ” by “afternoon , evening , bye ” -Aks them to act the dialogues. -Ask ss to practise in pairs. Monitor the activity and offer the help. |

Game : Guessing -Have some clocks , let Ss say the time and greet. Pass the pictures quickly , ask Ss to say greetings.T can write out and ask Ss to read -Hang 4 pictures on the board Point to the picture a, b, c, d and ask what each character should say. + Who are they ? + How do they greet ?
-Ask ss to fill in the speech. -Have ss repeat the lines.

*Practice : Ss can use the characters in the book to practise or role play. Ask ss to practice speaking in pairs. Monitor the activity and offer the help. Call on a pair perform at the front of the class. -give 4 pictures and stick them on the board .ask questions: + 1a , Who are they ? Sing a song : Good morning -have a picture and stick on the board . ask : + Who are they ? Have ss to look at the words “morning ” and “ afternoon ”. Notice the differently coloured letters in both words. Tell them they are going to learn how to produce the sounds ng and n. Produce sounds “ ng ” and “ n” in two times. Put the large piece of paper with the chant written on it on the board. Recall the words and phrases. -Play the recording. -Clap the syllables. -Play the recording again. -Ask ss to repeat . -Call on a pair to the front of class, have one ss repeat each line the chant. - have 4 pictures, ask Ss to look at the them. -Tell them that they are going to listen to the recording to get the informations they hear. -Play the recording for ss to listen as they look closely at the pictures in the books. -Play the recording again for Ss to listen, select, and number the correct picture -Replay the recording for Ss to check their answers. -Have Ss trade their answers in pair of group. -Game: “ Passing ” T give some cards ,Ss sing and pass the word cards.When the music stops , Ss stop passing and read aloud what they have . -Learn by heart the chant . -Prepare for lesson 2 ( lesson 3,4. ) |
