1. Warm up:

    Teacher: - Greeting class and asking them about some characters: Where is Mai/ Trung

from?

-         Set the sentence.

-         Give introduction of the text.

    Pupils: - Greeting teacher and answering the question.

2. New lesson:

Period 1: A1 – A3.

*PRESENTATION.

*Pre – teach vocabulary :

    Teacher: - Elicit the new words: address, lane, tower, road.

-         Get pupils to read all the new words in group then individually.

    Teacher: - Elicit pupils to guess a situation of picture.

-         Read the dialouge first or listen to the tape.

-         Ask pupils to repeat in chorus three times.

-         Get some pairs to read it aloud.

-         Practice the dialogue.

• Teacher: - Ask pupils to look at picture 1,2,3 and 4 on page 7 and answer the

questions: What’s your address?

-         Ask pupils to work in pairs to guess.

-         Get feedback from pupils and write pupil’s ideas on the board.

-         Ask pupils to listen the dialouge twice.

-         Ask pupils listen again and check their predictions.

-         Give answer key:

• Pupils: - Guess.

-         LiRead and complete

Activity 5. Read and complete.

    Teacher: - Ask students to read the passage and fill in the blanks.

-         Ask students to correct their answers in partners.
