1. Look, listen and repeat

a- Calls on two Ss to go to the board.

- T says about the situation: the first time they meet each other

- Talk: T: Hi! My name’s Huyen.

            S1: Hello! I’m Nga. Nice to meet you.

            T: Nice to meet you too. Where are you from?

            S1: I’m from Vietnam.

- Then practice with S2

b- Gets Ss to ask and answer:

Where are you from?

I’m from (London). I’m English.

(London is a capital of England).

T reads .

- Divides class into some groups and practice the dialogue

- Asks some Ss to talk in front of the class. 

2. Present the complete dialogue

- Uses Puppets to make dialogue

Puppet A: Hi. My name’s Thu.

Puppet B: Hello. I’m Linda. Nice to meet you.

Puppet A: Nice to meet you too. Where are you from?

Puppet B: I’m from London.

Puppet A: So, you’re English. I’m Vietnamese.

- Gives Ss some new words: so, English, Vietnamese

- Divides the  class into two groups to  practice the whole dialog

2. Look and say

- Asks Ss to read the words in the book.

Introduces the pictures and Ss in the book.

-Asks ss to open the book ,look, listen and repeat

V’ietnamese, Singapo’rean, E’nglish, Am’erican

- Ss say: My name’s (Mai). I’m from (Hanoi). I’m Vietnamese

3. Let’ talk

Calls on some Ss to practice in front of the class.

- Some Ss go to the board to talk about him/ hershelf.

IV. Other activity: Play game: Let’ talk

Glues 4 dialogues on the board

- 4 groups run to the dialogue, each S reads one line then orders the other to follow the dialogue to talk

- Which group says it right, they are winner
