A. Reading
I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
1.Knowledge:
- Know more about vocabulary related to hobbies.
- Use the acquired language and knowledge to talk about their hobbies.
2. Skill:
- Reading skill: read for specific information, guessing meaning from context.
- Listening skill: listen for gist and details.
- Speaking skill: talk about hobbies.
3. Attitude: After the lesson, students may:
- Use the vocabulary from the reading passage and reading skills to read more articles and use these words in different situations correctly.
II. Language content
1. Lexicalitems:accomplished, accompany, modest, avid, discard, indulge in ,keep sb occupied.
2. Grammar: Revise present tense.

2. Because his uncle is anaccomplished guitarist and he’s good at accompanying people singing with his guitar.
3. He bought some from the shop and collected some from the rice field near his house.
4. He collects them from discarded envelops his relatives and friends give him.
5.He keeps the less common stamps inside a small album. The commonones he usually gives away to others or if no one wants them he simply throws them away.
