  • T asks SS to practice the sound: “T t” by repeating and chanting “T T T, /t/ /t/ /t/”.

Letter P:

  • T introduces letter S and teaches SS how to pronounce the sound “S”.
  • T asks SS to practice the sound: “S s” by repeating and chanting “S S S, /s/ /s/ /s/”.

2. Vocabulary:

  • T uses the flashcards to introduce the vocabulary. T can ask “What’s this? And then T writes the words on the board.
  • T asks SS to point the letter "S" and "T" in the flash card.
  • T reads, SS repeat after, and read one by one. T checks their pronunciation.

The game: Finding the words

  • T breaks the class into 2 teams.
  • T puts the flash cards on the table, and then calls one student of each team to play.
  • T says a word which has in the cards, and SS have to take the right one. The first person who gets the correct cards will have one point.
  • The team receiving more points will be the winner.

The game: Go home

  • T asks four students to play a game.
  • T hangs the picture on the board, and then speaks out the words. SS have to go to the right cards which describe the word.
  • If some one go to the wrong place will get back their seat. The winner will be the last person who still on the board.

Colour in

  • T has SS spend some minutes colouring.

2. Structure

  • T tells SS that they are going to review the words of more numbers in English. T guide SS how to identify number 10 and how to pronounce the word “ten”.
  • T has SS count the items: books, pens… (1-10) or T can draw stars, candies… to have SS practice counting the numbers.

Game: Number Codes

  • Cut out some squares and write numbers from 0-9 on them (do about 4 sets of 0-9).  Put the numbers in a box and then instruct the students to take out the numbers and place them in a line as you call them out.  Then check that the number code is the same as you called out. This also works well for phone numbers.
